Some third-party REST client frameworks do not include the credentials on requests that result from a redirect response from the server. If you are receiving a 401 Unauthorized response, it may be due to this limitation. In the sample code, we use the RestSharp third party component for a REST client and we have implemented an IAuthenticator, which will pass the credentials on every request.
