Web Services Password Policy

It may not always be required to set up a new password policy, but most integrations should use roles/users that have password policies that do not expire.
 

Properties

Name: Provide a unique name.
Default: Avoid making web services password policy the default.

Enforcement

Require Complex Password: We recommend checking this in order to require an array of character types to be included in the password.
History Duration: We recommend using a 0 (zero) to indicate that a password may be reused many times.

Password

Minimum Length: We recommend at least 8
Maximum Age: We recommend leaving this blank so the password doesn't expire so that an integration doesn't stop functioning.

Password Lockout Rules

Failed Login attempts before Lockout: We recomment 3
Lock Account for (minutes): We recommend 5
