RESTful General URL Structure

RESTful interactions with Dayforce HCM are processed based on HTTPS requests issued from an external system (i.e., a consuming application). The request URLs are composed of the following elements:

a scheme: e.g., https://
a host: e.g., test.dayforcehcm.com
a service: e.g., API
a client namespace: e.g., CompanyName
a version: e.g., V1
a resource: the type of data that will be used in the operation, e.g., Employees

The URL is constructed as follows:

<scheme>://<host>/<service>/<namespace>/<version>/<resource>
